Mark Christofi has been involved in the interior design profession for over 25 years. He worked for several design firms — developing a strong background in traditional English and American interiors — before starting his own firm in 1995. Since then, Mark has evolved a fresh style that juxtaposes traditional and classical elements with unexpected contemporary accents.
Mark Christofi works within a variety of budgets — from single room refurbishments to whole-house interior design projects — on new, architect-designed houses and on historic homes. Our services include: • full residential & small contract design • furniture layout and selection • custom furniture design • project management • exterior & interior detailing • fixture design & lighting • consulting on art acquisition and artisan selection

- Would you say you have a certain style?
-
My fresh approach blends color, texture, furniture styles and artistic highlights to create a sense of place and enhance livability. Warmth, wit, bringing the outdoors inside, and whimsy are all hallmarks of my award-winning style.
- What is your approach to working with clients?
-
The client is central to my process. I begin a project with no preconceived notions and finds that collaborating with a client is what makes a project both stimulating and rewarding. To me, the close involvement of clients results in successful projects.
One client said it best: “The process of designing my home with Mark was worth everything. Decisions were not made for me but were made with me. At the beginning, I was living in a home that was new to me. But because I was part of the process I now feel emotionally attached to my home. Mark made it a wonderful, pleasurable and painless experience.”
