Project Story
When the owner of a Texas construction company that deals a lot with stainless steel decided to invest in a wine cellar for his modern home, Alan Abrams of Alan’s Wine Cellar designed a truly unique room. Abrams says he particularly enjoyed this project because working with all metal meant he could skirt the design requirements of wood, such as the need for vertical support columns. Each stainless steel bottle peg was screwed into a specially drilled hole in the stainless steel wall.
