The clients had wanted a home that will reflect their love for the contemporary as well as being rooted in traditions. Callahan Design Group had the perfect blend for the homeowners: a mix-and-match of design styles through the use of color as a unifying factor. The house’s lower level is styled with traditional furniture and accents in black and red, which blends
well with the neutral colors of the interior spaces. What seemed to be a classic elegance on the floor below is contrasted and defined on the floor above where contemporary colors are used to give a more whimsical but casual feel.
