Project Story
The Art Deco influence here is slight enough to recall a forgotten era of grand comfort without leaving too bombastic and impression. The early twentieth century feel is brought out of the realm of obscurity into that of subtlety by the decidedly art deco lamp over the marble serving table.
The scene maintains it’s lavish yet homey appeal with contrasts such as the full oil painting on a wall across from a medium wall mounted tv- diners can easily choose between spectacles of two mediums, past and present. Of course the contemporary functionality of the high end kitchen appliances is set seamlessly into the rich dark wood cabinetry.
