Project Details
This house is unified by the use of jet black overtones contrasted with white backgrounds throughout; from the dark rectangle formed by the black leather chairs and the coffee table in the living room to the ebony colored headboard underscored by the clean white of the bedroom. This give the effect of a blank canvas that is painted with deep black brush strokes that flow into each other without being wholly adjacent. This in combination with the comfortable decoration such as the shag rug in the living room fill this mature space with a warm, homey feeling.
This house obtains an air of friendly intrigue while still maintaining the simplicity of clean modern quadrilateral lines.
