When one thinks of Aspen the first image that comes up is almost universally that of a skier cutting twin tracks into previously undisturbed Colorado snow. This home proves that the feeling of being alone with all the great resources of the mountains is not exclusive to ski season.
This home commands broad views of the surrounding environment, with it’s cottage looks appealing to the vast scale of the natural red and green hues of the summer mountains. It’s high ceilings not only allow for any skier to feel as if they are getting a well deserved rest in a private lodge but also to let the color and light come in as it reflects off the pond outside. The large kitchen space and appliances allow a cook to prepare filling winter dinners as well as ample picnic spreads.
This Aspen house allows for revelry in the beauty of all the seasons as they pass through the Rockies.
