Project Story
A premier 7500 square foot home in the Yellowstone Club, the Spano residence sits atop a mountain peninsula with breathtaking 360 degree views. The design evolved from an axis derived from these views so that no space is left without a sense of its surroundings. The extensive stone masonry and “as found” recycled timber work provide an appropriate scale and massing to match the interior spaces to their vast surroundings, yet contrast to the hand troweled plaster maintaining a warm and comfortable sense of space.
