Project Story
Situated on the tenth floor of the Gorlin Tower in Miami,
this two-bedroom apartment takes full advantage of its
commanding views of the waterway below and the city of
Miami beyond. The interior space is arranged in an open
plan configuration, centered around a main living, dining
and cooking area that extends seamlessly through floor-
to-ceiling windows onto the wraparound terrace outside.
This home is owned and designed by Alexander Gorlin
himself. Design scheme focused on the theory of New
Urbanism founded by Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company – where
a fresh mix of the modern and surreal flows smoothly in
each interior space. In the living area, a Neo-Surreal
painting done by Sean Mellyn ( A Girl Named Brancusi )
hang over a 12-foot sofa.
